See Beautiful Ireland this Summer


The whole holiday at home motto has never been pushed as much as it has been currently across Europe. With nations looking to keep money inside their own countries and people not having the money to go abroad, partaking in a holiday at home seems like a great option.

Fortunately, for Irish people there are plenty of hotels and not that many people to fill them, meaning that hotel room rates in Eire's Isle are among the lowest in Europe. We all know that there are few better places for a holiday than Ireland and give good deals in Ireland, you can be sure many of us will be happy to take a break.

Weather of course can be an issue, however let's look towards the positive and hope for a good summer, as there's plenty of great places to visit in Ireland.

North East

Across the border in the north of Ireland, there is much to see, though many of us have only seen it in advertisements- a shame. A visit to the north of the country allows you access to some of the wonders of Ireland. The famed Giant's Causeway is one such wonderful feature and will awe those who have not seen it in real life. Bushmills Distillery is also a part and parcel experience of a northern adventure and is one of the most interesting days out in the whole of the country. Of course, you are also within close proximity of Belfast, which is great for a night out and the new Titanic exhibition, which is among one of the most exciting attractions and never more apt than now - 100 years after the boats sinking.

Cork

The former European City of Culture is an exciting one with a lot going for it. The likes of the English Market in the city were showcased during the visit of the Queen of England, however there is so much to the city it's hard to list. Areas to the west of the county offer amazing natural beauty and also a lot of history. Towns such as Clonakilty are renowned as the birthplace of numerous Irish heros, such as Michael Collins. Whereas places like Kinsale offer excellent Ireland deals for those looking for great places to stay. the quality of food in such areas is also excellent and with many locally sourced ingredients you can be sure you'll be very happy.

Galway

The west part of the country is also a wonderful place for those looking for deals in Ireland and if you're looking for a change of pace, this could be the place to go. Galway City offers a very different feel to many others and has a distinctly bohemian feel. It's also full of history, while the surrounding areas are beautiful and full of the beauty of the Atlantic. It does have a tendency to rain in the west of the country, however a trip is still a must - bring the rain gear. Why not take advantage of deals Ireland and see the Irish speaking areas, or travel to the Karst landscape of the Burren, it's all exciting, beautiful and will give you a fresh view on Ireland's culture.

Donegal

Those looking for a little bit of adventure will be more than delighted to hit Donegal. From surfing, to just eating great seafood in fishing villages, this is the place to go. That's not to say both of these cannot be combined for something a little bit different. Donegal is also a beautiful area and faces out onto the Atlantic, meaning it has that rough, but beautiful landscape seldom seen anywhere else in the world. Take a trip and see for yourself.
